"Canarina School" for eco-social entrepreneurship

Aware of the eco-social crisis in which we find ourselves – a crisis that is undermining the material bases that sustain ecosystems and social life – and which is the result of an economic system that prioritises the maximisation of financial gains over all other aspects of life, we at the Canarina Foundation have set out to make our contribution to building a different economy and a different culture that places the care of life at the centre.

For all these reasons, the Canarina Foundation is committed to the values, principles and tools of the Social and Solidarity Economy, and in order to put this commitment into practice and contribute to the economic sovereignty of the Canary Islands, we have decided that one of our activities will be eco-social entrepreneurship.

As a main project, we have created the Canarina School of Ecosocial Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism, designed as a space for training, counselling and support for the creation of collective entrepreneurial initiatives within the framework of the social and solidarity economy.
