Research and Studies

Scientific research enables us to gain new knowledge that allows us to better understand the world around us. It also enables us to find solutions to the problems we face as a society and moves us forward. One of the clear benefits of research is its contribution to understanding environmental issues: through it, innovative solutions can be found to combat climate change, reduce pollution, improve education and tackle other issues relevant to society.

Despite its importance, scientific research faces many challenges and obstacles, the main one being the lack of funding. For all these reasons, the Canarina Foundation financially supports various studies and research on environmental issues.

The studies and research that we have supported to date in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands include:
